Residential Courses
Our residential courses are specifically aimed at people from across the UK, who live too far to be able to travel to the driving instructor training centre during the training sessions.
Accommodation can be provided if required in the seaside town of Blackpool. City Driving Instructor Training Centre constantly check the standards of the accommodation we provide to make sure that your stay in Blackpool is as comfortable as possible.
All the training materials are included in the cost of the course.
The course costs £2495. The course consists of 65 hours of one to one training sessions in the instructor training vehicle, City Driving School Instructor Training starter pack and accommodation in a quality hotel in Blackpool or PARTS 2 & 3 examination fee - one attempt only. PART 1 test will be delivered through distance learning (if required). PART 2 & PART 3 training will be delivered on a one-to-one basis. You will not be sharing the training with another pupil, City Driving School believe that this method reduces the practical training session time for the individual.
The course is designed to ensure that you receive hands on training with an ORDIT registered driving instructor trainer who will be assisting you on improving your driving ability during PART 2 sessions and for PART 3 sessions the driving instructor trainer will be role playing as a learner driver rather than getting you to sit in a classroom and take notes.
Due to the waiting time between PART 2 and PART 3 tests and due to PART 3 training being very demanding, training is broken up into manageable sessions to ensure that the training you receive is at the correct level giving you time to digest the information rather than taking in all instructor training topics in one go.
